A bit of editing

I saw in a comment left on my wife's blog that people actually still come here so I figured I better make a better attempt at blogging with Blogger. I've looked high and low for a good app for my iPod Touch that will allow me to blog on there so I don't have to be connected to the Internet to actually spit out my thoughts.

Well I figure I have a lot to catch people up on so here goes. (the short version)

I got kidney stones back in August of 2008 and since then I haven't been able to fly. I normally go in and sit behind the Duty Desk at the squadron but since my surgery I've been doing that a little bit less and getting into the simulator building a little bit more. This is in anticipation for my return to med-up status and the finishing of my FRS orders. I figure I have about a month left (once I am med-up) before I finish my training and will move on to my next squadron.

Today I had off, again. So I have been sitting at home doing a little of this and that. I watched Mad Max 2: Road Warrior on Netflix via my X-Box 360. "Watch Instantly" is nice when you aren't sure what you want to watch, but you want to watch something to pass the time.

I also have been working on my website. I am working with Dreamweaver CS4 and trying to nail the layout down before I decide much more on detailed content.

I have been posting a few things here and there at the subdomain: iweb.nfoav8or.com

If anyone has any suggestions for me, please feel free to leave me a note here. Just remember, I am new to Dreamweaver CS4 so its still kind of a daunting hobby...

Anyways, my wife is almost home from work so I am going to sign off for now; we are heading to the grocery store to pick up food for the next week and then its back home again to make Fettucini Alfredo with cheese-topped freshly-steamed broccoli. Yum.

Later.
