Yesterday my wife, Lala, returned from her four-day trip to Las Vegas where she was able to spend some time with her mom and see my younger brother, Adam, and his fiancé and children. I'm very happy she's back as I've missed her a lot. The house just isn't a home without her around. I'm sad to say she is working right now, whereas I got home early today after completing a Sim this morning. I was anxious to get home since I was receiving a new phone in the mail. While my wife was away, I took to fishing trout in one of the local lakes and on Sunday my phone slipped from my pocket and fell in the lake. :-( It took a while for me to get it dry enough to use again and since I took the battery out right away, nothing was shorted out. This didn't save my phone though as over the past few days I've experienced everything from just a few keys not working to the entire phone not working... and not necessarily in that order. So, needless to say, I have been in need of a new phone. Lala and I were contemplating the pros and cons of switching to AT&T so we could get the iPhone (which was pushed for heavily by me) or sticking with Verizon and signing another 2-year contract. I won't go into the details each of us gave to support our choices but Verizon won over and I got my new Motorolla Krave ZN4 in the mail today and am still on the middle of setting it up while it gets it's initial charge.
In other news, I have a full day tomorrow: a medical appointment in the morning followed immediately by two sims that follow it back to back and last until 2200 (that's 10 PM for all you non-military types reading this). My medical appointment is for an IVP (intravenous pyleogram)... which is basically an X-ray they take where they look at the reflected ages of the stuff they pump into my veins so they can determine if the surgery I had a month-and-a-half ago worked and is healed. If the images look good to the Doc I'll take them to on Monday, then by Tuesday I could be med-up again and flying!! :-D
I'm doing a lot of praying and water-drinking to ensure it all goes smoothly.
Well that's all for now. Wish me luck. :-)

Can you get an i-phone that has been unlocked (jailbroken) so you don't have to use AT&T? It seems like they are everywhere on Craigslist!
